2020 has obviously been a strange year, and also quite transformative for me in many ways. This week in particular was extremely transformative for the family—dropping off my daughter to college for her freshman year. This happened to be coincidentally on the 1-year anniversary of launching this website. As such I’d like to take one more opportunity to thank those who helped me initially build it and were influential in my life: Acknowledgments Page (I’ve included everyone on this page in this mailing, even though a few of you aren’t subscribers!)
I made a number of additions to the site recently, including new content for the birthday page and some new quotes and recipes.
Hope you enjoy!
This has been a fun project and happy to continue engaging with those of you who reach out directly. I’ll probably take a hiatus from the regular content additions and blogs given my intense drive in other areas of life, but if you have a specific request don’t hesitate to ask.
I do have one request if you’re inclined. I’m helping my company raise money for Cystic Fibrosis (the disease we most work on when we’re not focusing on the Covid vaccine!). If you’d like to donate to the cause, please use this link: CF fundraising link. It’s a ‘virtual’ run or bike ride of only 6.5 miles, and we have a week to complete, so I’ll try to 10x it…
The new quote for this update is: “We miss who we’re made to be when we focus on what we think we’re supposed to be”
My 1-year anniversary egg photo are over easy eggs on a bed of toasted Ezekiel sprouted bread with chicken sausages, avocado, hot cherry peppers, and melted cheddar & Gouda cheese.
