There are so many layers you can add on to personalize your physical fitness routine. Embrace self-education and feel free to reach out to me for advice. A few fantastic resources to learn from experts far more knowledgeable than myself in the fitness world are listed below:
- A great core routine if you want to add to that critical component of strength training: Bmax core training
- Christopher Sommer, creator of an amazing Gymnastics Strength Training program can be found here: Gymnastic Strength Training. He’s also done a number of interviews and podcasts; my favorite are the ones in the Robb Wolf feed. Here is the first one and there are several more: Robb Wolf first interview with coach Sommer.
- If you like the movement involved in GST, or yoga, or Pilates, then you will love what the Ido Portal Movement Culture has achieved. Access may be difficult, however.
- Tim Ferriss has had quite a few excellent guests from the strength training world, including Christopher Sommer. Also search for the Kelly Starrett, Charles Poliquin, Laird Hamilton, Jerzy Gregorek, Stanley McChrystal, Peter Attia, and Jocko Willink interviews: The Tim Ferriss Show.
- Joe Rogan has interviewed many of the world’s best athletes who share their workouts and ‘secrets’. Way too many to list here, but search any name or category: The Joe Rogan Experience.
- Although I don’t agree with everything they say (which, I suppose, is true of anyone), Ben Greenfield is my favorite biohacker and Peter Attia my favorite physician podcaster, but they both include quite a few episodes on work out approaches and hacks: Ben Greenfield Fitness and The Peter Attia Drive.
